For a second straight season, the former Charlotte Hornets star Kemba Walker will be an All-Star starter.
With All-Star weekend closing in, Charlotte Hornets fans will be able to watch the team’s former star point guard be an All-Star starter. This is the second straight season where Kemba Walker will start in the All-Star Game; this will be Walker’s fourth All-Star appearance.
Last season, Walker was named an All-Star starter after the career season he had. Walker finished the 2018-19 season by averaging 25.6 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game.

In last year’s All-Star game as a starter, Walker finished the matchup with four points and eight assists. Walker did not have a huge game, but it was nice to watch him play on his home court.
Many Hornets fans will be happy for Walker, while many wish that he was still a Hornet. During the offseason, Walker was a part of a sign-and-trade that sent him to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Terry Rozier.
Walker earned the chance to start in the 2020 All-Star game after averaging 21.7 points and 5.0 assists per game. His play on the Celtics has helped his team reach a 29-14 record, which is the best record that Walker has ever had in the league.
While there will likely not be any Hornets players representing Charlotte in the All-Star game, fans can still watch their former captain play.
During last year’s All-Star game, Walker was able to participate in the Three-Point Contest. So far, there has not been any confirmation that Walker will take part in the Three-Point Contest this year.
Luckily for the Hornets, they may have a new contestant participate in the Three-Point Contest. Devonte’ Graham is having a career season, and he is second in the NBA in threes made with 164.
With the All-Star game happening in under twenty days, fans would like to see Walker have a better outing than he had last year.
