Let the youngsters play

This is a season in which the Charlotte Hornets’ front office looks to find answers in who their young players are and, more importantly, who they feel like they want to invest in and build around.

The rotation has recently has proved that this is already being taken into effect. No minutes from Batum since the game played in France, Bismack Biyombo has only played in one of the last 6 games, and the recent buyouts of Marvin and MKG.

Caleb Martin and Jalen McDaniels were recently called up from the G-League to play with the Hornets, as well.

That is great to see awareness from the organization as a whole to understand who this team should have on the floor and what this season is all about.

Head coach James Borrego should keep giving these guys opportunities to show who they are so that management can see accurately what they have in each guy to get a clear understanding of the roster moving forward.
