As the Charlotte Hornets did not have any players in the All-Star Game this year, fans were still able to watch their former Captain.

On the final day of All-Star weekend, Charlotte Hornets fans were able to enjoy watching the play from many great players. One player that stood out the most to fans was former star point guard Kemba Walker.

With the new additions to the All-Star Game this year, both teams were able to honor Kobe Bryant. Team Lebron wore the #2, while team Giannis wore #24.

In the end, Lebron James’ team won 157-155 after the game-winning free throw made by Anthony Davis.

In this game, Walker got to start for the second season in a row. Walker got the first start of his career as an All-Star last season after he averaged 25.6 points and 5.9 assists per game for the Hornets.

In his second All-Star start, Walker finished with 23 points and three assists. Walker’s performance this year was a lot better than last year’s, as he finished with four points and eight assists.

Kemba Walker has been playing well for the Boston Celtics so far. His new team is a top team in the Eastern Conference, and this is easily the best team he has ever been a part of.

Through 46 games with the Celtics, Walker has averaged 21.8 points and 5.0 assists per game. Walker is not averaging the kind of numbers he did last season, and a huge reason because of that could be because of his All-Star caliber teammates.

The Hornets have already played Walker and the Celtics three times this season; all of those games resulted in a loss for Charlotte. Walker averaged 19.7 points and 5.7 assists per game against the Hornets this season.
