3 reasons why the Charlotte Hornets should stick with Terry Rozier
Heading into the offseason, the Charlotte Hornets should continue to stick with Terry Rozier after his productive first year with the team.
After enduring the 2019 offseason, Charlotte Hornets fans have had a lot to look forward to with their young talent. Losing Kemba Walker hurt, but the Hornets have received much-needed production from certain players this season.
When Charlotte lost Walker after he was traded to the Boston Celtics, the team gained Terry Rozier in the sign-and-trade. In his first season in Charlotte, Rozier has exceeded all expectations as a full-time starter.

While with the Celtics, Rozier averaged 7.7 points, 2.3 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game. However, as a first-year Hornet, he’s managed to average 18.0 points, 4.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Many expected this high amount of production after his performance in the 2017-18 playoffs, where he started in 19 games.
When looking at his starts in the regular season, Rozier only started in 30 career games with Boston. As a Hornet, Rozier has already doubled that number with 63 starts.
Coach James Borrego has remained confident in Rozier, and it’s a huge reason why he has started in every game that he’s played in. Do fans owe Rozier more appreciation?
