Devonte’ Graham and Miles Bridges Making Waves

The purpose of this article was to highlight lesser-known features of the team, so it will only touch on these two, as their merit is obvious. Starting guard Devonte’ Graham and power forward Miles Bridges have been a pair of bright spots in the queen city for the past two years.

While Bridges narrowly missed an All-Rookie selection last season, Graham took a big step forward this season. Graham has blossomed into a borderline All-Star, being selected for the 3-point contest after making the fifth most threes in the season.

Bridges also made his way to the All-Star weekend in Chicago, being awarded Most Valuable Player of the Rising Stars game. Bridges recorded 20 points, five rebounds and five assists for Team USA in the exhibition.

The sophomore put on a show when under the spotlight, shooting an efficient 43% from 3 and 67% from the field. It seems like the Charlotte Hornets have found their one and four of the future. Both have given the Hornets great minutes while on the court.

This duo will grace Charlotte for years to come, hopefully leading the team back to, and beyond, the playoff glory of the 90s Charlotte Hornets. Fans should expect great things from these two if the regular season resumes.
