We’re here at the Grand Finale. Number 1 and Number 2 going at it for all the marbles. Will things go as planned?

1. Kemba Walker vs 2. Larry Johnson (83% – 17%)

Any Charlotte Hornets fan worth their salt knew this was going to be the final outcome. I must say that I am proud of Buzz City for getting it right and yes, this is the right outcome.

The Hornets are still a young franchise and while they might not have the Hall of Fame players like some of the more established organizations out there, they have their own brand of special players.

Whether it’s lovable goofballs like Larry Johnson, strong and determined little guys like Muggsy Bogues, or do-it-all guys who lay it all out on the court like Gerald Wallace or Kemba Walker, Charlotte has had their own rag-tag group of guys who might not be household names but represented the city of Charlotte with class, grace, tenacity, and oftentimes, charm.

This was a fun exercise and if any of the fans who voted in our polls on Twitter are reading this, we’d like to thank you for your input. Without you, this piece, and possibly this entire site, could not exist.
