While many Charlotte Hornets fans are optimistic about the team going forward, in terms of wins and losses, this year was a disappointment.  Still, there is always a silver lining and the guys managed to pull off some surprising wins.

With so much still up in the air right now, it’s safe to assume that Charlotte Hornets‘ management is focused purely on the offseason. That obviously means gearing up for the NBA draft, re-signing players (should they want to), and looking to sign any new players to the roster.

While we wait on that, let’s take a look at some of the bright spots from the season. For a team that finished the apparently shortened season 23-42, it may seem like there wasn’t much to celebrate, but this scrappy little bunch turned some heads by defeating a few of the powerhouse teams in the league.

In this piece, we’ll be looking at what should be their three most impressive wins of the season, all of which were over teams that were contending for the playoffs. Perhaps these wins can be fuel for next season as the Charlotte Hornets hope to rebound and possibly sneak into the playoffs.

In any case, it’s fun to reminisce and though there isn’t much to look back upon in a favorable sense, these victories give Hornets fans some solace going into what should be an exciting offseason.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the Charlotte Hornets’ marquee wins of the 2019-2020 season.
