As the Charlotte Hornets prepare to watch the league restart, Bleacher Report issued an interesting proposal to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Have you ever thought about the Charlotte Hornets trading for one of the best players in the league? Well, Bleacher Report pulled out their bag of tricks and made a proposal for the Hornets to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

When you think about high-value targets, it’s almost hard to see the Hornets making a trade for them. It’s a lot different when that targeted player is the previous award winner as the NBA’s MVP.

The Hornets have not been in the high-value market as of late, so it’s interesting to see them target any superstar. However, Bleacher Report gave an interesting trade idea for Antetokounmpo.

In this trade proposal, the Hornets would send the Milwaukee Bucks PJ Washington, Miles Bridges, Terry Rozier, a 2020 first-round pick, and a 2022 first-round pick. In exchange for these players, the Hornets would only receive Antetokounmpo.

Bleacher Report mentioned that Charlotte’s youth would maybe enough to get Antetokounmpo from the Bucks. They also cited that this trade would leave the Hornets with a core of Antetokounmpo, Devonte’ Graham, Cody Zeller, Malik Monk, and Nicolas Batum.

Antetokounmpo has a variety of skills that would help any team if he was magically traded. During 57 games this season, Antetokounmpo averaged 29.6 points, 5.8 assists, and 13.7 rebounds per game.

Antetokounmpo is currently gearing up for a huge playoff run. His team has the best record in the league, and he likely wants to go as hard as he can to get his first ring. The last time the Bucks won the NBA title was in 1971.

As of now, it would be random if the Charlotte Hornets made an attempt to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. This trade may seem far fetched, but some fans may like to see this happen.
