Charlotte Hornets: Trick or Treat with the #3 pick options in the NBA Draft
LaMelo Ball
LaMelo Ball. Man do I need to even briefly describe this baller. Ball is my favorite talent in this draft and I’ve loved his style of play for a long time.
Obviously, Ball is a future mega-star and has hit stardom since his family starred in Ball in the Family. Having an NBA player brother and your entire family in the limelight all the time, I’m sure isn’t easy.
Ball opted to go play professionally in Australia and absolutely balled out. Ball averaged 17 points and nearly seven assists playing for the Illawara Hawks in the NBL. Ball did shoot an underwhelming 37% from the field and the 6 ‘7 guard logged seven rebounds a contest.
Would the final Ball brother run the Charlotte Hornets offense?
LaMelo Ball is an absolute stud and has been since he was in middle school. Ball’s offensively super talented and can shoot the lights out when he gets hot. Ball is an amazing playmaker and can create an open outlet for open shooters on the perimeters.
Ball would definitely elevate the Hornets offensively but defensively he may be a liability. The Hornets can use Ball to bring the team to a new level. Even though he creates the same problems as Anthony Edwards but I think he may be more worth the risk, Ball is an amazing talent who I would roll the dice on every time.
Verdict: Hershey Bar(Great Treat)
A Hershey Bar is one of the G.O.A.T candy bars and is an absolute treat during the Halloween season. All the other candy bars are extravagant and that’s fine but a nice Hershey’s bar? So simple and delicious.
