Joe Harris

Joe Harris is a lights out three point shooter and this offseason the Hornets could snag him. The Hornets struggle from behind the arch and Harris could be the solution to the Hornet’s problems. Harris is a three point contest champion and this offseason he can make a bunch of money.

Harris would be great getting big minutes off the bench with P.J. Washington starting at the the three forward spot. Harris can shoot the lights out of any stadium in the country and for him to relieve Most-Improved snub Devonte Graham.

Harris is averaging 15 points a game with a stellar three-point field goal percentage of 42%. Harris grabbed about four rebounds a game and a couple of assists. The Ringer talks about how Harris may master the one-dribble three-point shot:

"“Instead, his value comes from behind the 3-point line, where the 28-year-old uses poise and technique to harness basketball’s most powerful shot.”"

Harris led the league in three-point percentage during the 2018-19 season, shooting 47% from behind the arch. Harris shoots between the high and mid-40’s past a ten-foot jumper. Harris made 172 three-point field goals this past season, which is the second-most in a season in his career.

Hopefully the Hornets can make a push to pick up Harris this offseason as he would add a great shooter to Charlotte’s team.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson may not seem like a super target for the Hornets but he has tremendous upside. Hollis-Jefferson is still a young talent and he has the intangibles of a good addition to the roster.

Hollis-Jefferson is listed at a lean 6 ‘6. The 217 pound athlete is an Arizona alumni and still has potential to improve in this league. Hollis-Jefferson is coming up on his sixth year and averaged nearly 14 points per game with the Brooklyn Nets.

Hollis-Jefferson’s minutes since Brooklyn have tremendously dropped and now he is averaging seven points and four rebounds a contest. Hollis-Jefferson can be great off the bench for the Nets and can provide good scoring for the Hornets.

Hollis-Jefferson is talented and can be a defensive centerpiece for the Hornets secondary.  His six defensive rebounds is definitely nothing to scoff at either and can improve the Hornets defense and rebounding.

Hollis-Jefferson was a late first-round pick and he can definitely add depth to the Hornets roster which will propel Charlotte into better playoff contention.
