Since the Wizards are currently shopping unsung star Bradley Beal, would the Charlotte Hornets be a good suitor?

The Charlotte Hornets have the opportunity to dramatically change the roster this offseason and with the number three overall draft, the Hornets have a premium pick at their disposal. The number three pick is easily one of the most valuable assets for Charlotte.

The Washington Wizards are currently shopping Bradley Beal and his worth is absolutely through the ceiling. Beal averaged over 30 points per game and was definitely snubbed out of an All-Star position this last season. Beal does have two Al-Star appearances but was definitely robbed of this last year’s game.

The eight-year veteran is hands down one of the best players in the NBA and the sheer amount of disrespect for his skills is absolutely ridiculous. Beal is an extremely talented player and he is one of the most accessible stars in the league that is currently some sort of available.

Should the Charlotte Hornets try to trade for Bradley Beal?

Absolutely the Hornets should pursue a trade with the Wizards for Beal. Beal instantly will be the best player on the roster will make the Hornets a better organization.

Beal is an amazing shooting guard and is obviously an instant starter and his talents on both sides of the ball would really improve the team. Beal averaged a steal per game and even three defensive rebounds.

Now the Hornets do have a really talented Devonte’ Graham that currently plays in that two-guard position but him and Rozier and fairly interchangeable. Now Rozier may take a seat as the Sixth man so that Beal will play his best basketball but that does strengthen both the starting lineup and the bench.

Beal was second in the league for points per game only behind James Harden. Beal also ranked 12th in the NBA for three-point attempts making him very deadly from behind the arch.

Beal is also pretty efficient on the defensive side of the ball and is definitely one of the better defensive guards in the league. His improvements on both sides of the ball make the Hornets a much better ball club.
