434. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. C. Duke University. Vernon Carey Jr.. 20. player

Vernon Carey Jr. is a really good big-man that the Heat should draft in this year’s NBA Draft. Carey is an absolute unit on the basketball court and dominated for the Blue Devils. Carey is really good at dominating the paint and he showed it last season.

Carey averaged 18 points and eight rebounds a game with over a steal per contest. Carey was an All-ACC player and would be a great addition to any team looking to add a big-man.

The Heat just made a major run at the NBA Finals this year and adding a center would be really good for Miami. Abedayo can be moved into the power forward position and the team has plenty of guards and wings so there only need would be a starting center. This would allow the Heat to play a big lineup against opposing teams.

Pick Analysis. University of Arizona. 21. 511. Scouting Report. SG. Josh Green . player

Josh Green is a great option at the two-guard and the 76ers shouldn’t pass on him. Green is an amazing two-way player as he is lightning quick and fercious on defense.

Green averaged over a steal per game and was one of the best players in the NCAA and was great at pushing players away from the lane. NBA.com stated the following about Green’s defense:

"“Green’s lateral quickness is a sight to behold as few players of his build can slide side-to-side as seamlessly as he can. Additionally, his hip flexibility allows him to change directions with smaller guards which is a problem for many big wings-even the ones lauded for their defense.”"

The 76ers are shopping Josh Richardson and really don’t like paying his contract. Richardson is on the way out and the 76ers, regardless of their trades, will need a shooting guard with potential. Green has a lot of potential on the offensive side of the ball and is a solid defensive guard.
