The following are important dates for the upcoming Charlotte Hornets season

So the first of a few important dates for the Hornets schedule is their December 27th matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Now this game is important for a few reasons, firstly the game will be featured on NBA TV which will be LaMelo Ball’s nationally televised debut. His performance on national television for the Hornets will be very important and fans will hopefully see the team win big on the big screen.

This game is the Hornets’ third game of the season and it will be critical for the team to start the season off winning against competitive rosters. The Brooklyn Nets will have Kyrie Irving and returning megastar Kevin Durant so playing competitively against this roster will show a lot about how good the team is.

The January 9th matchup against the Atlanta Hawks is an important date for the Hornets. Not only is it early into the NBA season but also it’s a home game against the Hornets’ rivals. The Hornets will face off against a great young core with the Hawks coming into Spectrum Center.

The game will have both LaMelo Ball and Trae Young faceoff, featuring two young talented guards that will likely sell out the stadium.

The final key date will be the Portland Trailblazers March 1st matchup. This date will be the point in the season where the Terry Rozier-LaMelo Ball starter determination should definitively be made. This NBA TV featured game will be a great time of the season to determine if the team needs to change up the lineup or stay on course. By this time of the season, the team will know the extent of their competitiveness.
