A look into the Charlotte Hornets NBA Preseason matchups

This offseason, the Charlotte Hornets picked up an array of talent and these players will garner the teal and white for the first time this preseason. Let’s look into these matchups.

The Charlotte Hornets preseason schedule looks to give the great rookie LaMelo Ball his first minutes on the court. These matchups are the first for the Hornets in several months since the NBA season went on hiatus due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

The preseason comes just weeks after both the NBA Draft and free agency, where Charlotte picked up quite the haul. The team secured a couple of really good rookies including NBL star LaMelo Ball and Duke standout Vernon Carey Jr.

The organization also picked up Gordon Hayward, a previous All-Star and really talented player that has been recovering since his horrible ankle injury. There are pros and cons for picking up Hayward but Charlotte surely overpaid.
