Charlotte Hornets: LaVar Ball makes a bold claim regarding Michael Jordan
With comments being made, could LaVar Ball have a chance in a game of 1-on-1 against Charlotte Hornets’ Owner Michael Jordan?
Over the past month, the Charlotte Hornets knew what would come with their first-round pick from this year’s draft. Fans could already tell that there would be a little drama between LaMelo Ball’s father, LaVar, and Hornets’ Owner Michael Jordan.
Over the past year, fans have witnessed the drama between LaVar and Jordan, as LaVar has claimed many times that he could beat Jordan in a game of 1-on-1. However, a game of this magnitude has not happened yet.

On Tuesday, LaVar Ball talked to Bleacher Report and made a bold claim regarding the Hornets’ owner. Ball said, ” No, I don’t think I could beat Michael Jordan 1 on 1… I KNOW I could beat Michael Jordan 1 on 1. For 200M, it could happen tomorrow.”
This claim was interesting, as Michael Jordan is an NBA Hall of Famer. When LaVar played basketball at Washington State in 1987, he only averaged 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game; he played the forward position.
LaVar and Jordan are about the same size, but Jordan still has the ability to make a lot of the shots that he had success with during his basketball career. However, would 200M really motivate LaVar to beat Jordan?
Fans know that LaVar likes to talk, but they can only hope that his words do not negatively impact his son’s career with the Hornets. LaMelo has made great strides during his first two preseason games and it seems that he has a lot of potential.
Since LaMelo is with Charlotte, will fans get to actually get to witness this matchup between LaVar Ball and Michael Jordan?
