Charlotte Hornets look to turn things around against Nets
After another terrible loss, the Charlotte Hornets will look to turn things around on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Charlotte Hornets are now starting the season 0-2. The team’s first two losses were decided by seven points or less. This was the Thunders’ first game of the regular season, as they are now 1-0.
The Hornets had a strong chance to win the game at the end when they cut a 10-point lead in the final two minutes of the game.
During the first two games, the Hornets have had the chance to win their games. The team has had stretches so far of missed shots and consecutive turnovers; these are things that cannot help win games.
However, the Hornets will be taking on the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. The Nets have not lost yet, and their first two games were strong wins earned by their starters. The duo of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant has been hard to handle so far this season.

Nicolas Claxton – Knee (Out)
Things to watch for:
Fans should watch how the Hornets respond to dropping two straight games. The Team has almost come back from small deficits at the end of both games, so the Hornets could be poised to carry over some of that 4th quarter energy into this one.
The Nets are a good rebounding team, so Bismack Biyombo will have a lot to handle in the paint as he goes against DeAndre Jordan and Jarret Allen. This could be a game where fans see Vernon Carey Jr. get some playing time.
Keys to the game:
Just like other games, the Hornets must be good on the glass and grab rebounds. While the team is getting boards, the Hornets need to stop opposing players from getting easy scores in the paint.
An obvious key will be to limit Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving from getting easy shots up. The Hornets must try to defend these two if they want to have a chance of coming out with a win.
