Charlotte Hornets look for third straight win against Memphis Grizzlies
After being two good teams, the Charlotte Hornets look to win their third straight game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
It’s 2021, and the Charlotte Hornets are hoping to start this new year strong with a win against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Hornets are coming off their second straight victory, in which they played their best game of the season.
The Hornets have a lot of momentum heading into this game, as well as a couple of bench players who are riding a hot streak. Both Miles Bridges and LaMelo Ball are coming off of one of the best games of their career.
Luckily for the Hornets, the Grizzlies will be without their star point guard, Ja Morant, who suffered an ankle injury earlier this week. Guards on the Hornets should look to play well against this Morantless team.
The Hornets are currently sitting at 2-2 and are among the top-8 teams in the Eastern Conference. A third straight win here would help them earn even more respect around the league

Things to watch for:
The Grizzlies are a beat-up team, but the Charlotte Hornets do not need to take this game for granted. While some of their good players are injured, the Hornets will need to take advantage of these injuries.
LaMelo Ball seems to keep getting better with every passing game. Even though he is coming off his best game, this one could become his new best game if he continues to play well off the bench.
Keys to the game:
Like in their last two games, the Hornets need to contiune to avoid costly turnovers and small mistakes. This Grizzlies team maybe 1-3, and with this being the NBA, anything can happen,
The Hornets have been rebounding the ball very well lately, so they must contiune to win the rebound battle down low. The Grizzlies have Jonas Valančiūnas playing for them, so they will need to limit him on offense.
The Charlotte Hornets really have a strong chance to get over the .500 mark with a win on Friday night. If the team plays as they did on Wednesday, then fans could be in for another victory.
