The Hornets ultimately came out on fire in the fourth quarter. They managed to take the lead for the first time in the game and held onto it until the end. Ball finished the game with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. He outplayed his brother and was so close to earning his first career triple-double.
Gordon Hayward was the team’s leading scorer, as he finished with 26 points. Bridges was behind him in scoring with 20 points off the bench.
This was a good and well-earned team win for Charlotte. The Hornets will now look to take on the Atlanta Hawks for the second straight time this season on Saturday night in Charlotte.
