Even though the Charlotte Hornets are only ten games in, there are several players with expiring contracts who should be concerned. Here are our early predictions on who will stay.

After a few rough weeks of basketball, the Charlotte Hornets have been able to push their record to .500, having a solid three-game winning streak. With the franchises’ young talent stepping up and balling out, it can raise a question of, who will the team retain at the end of the season?

Now there is plenty of time left and any of these players can greatly improve their skills or their role on the roster due to injury, but I feel like I have a fairly good idea of which contracts will be extended and which may go by the wayside.

With some sense of hope for the future of the organization, a bad contract cannot happen for this rebuild to continue to be successful. The city of Charlotte is finally seeing some return on years of rebuilding with LaMelo Ball improving game by game. Let’s analyze and predict what will happen at the end of these player’s contracts.

The players with expiring contracts are Bismack Biyombo, Devonte’ Graham, Malik Monk, and Cody Zeller.
