Charlotte Hornets score big win over the Milwaukee Bucks

The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 114-126 on Saturday night. Behind a great offensive team effort, the Hornets have now strung together two wins in a row.

The first half was some of the best basketball the team has played as a unit all season offensively. The team shot 52% from the three-point line. Malik Monk continues to impress when given time on the floor. Monk finished the first half with 11 points and finished the game with a season high 18 points

Gordon Hayward continues to prove that his offseason signing has been more than worth it for Charlotte. Hayward finished with 27 points., and continues to make it look effortless when putting up buckets. LaMelo Ball continues to grow before our eyes, tying Hayward as a lead scorer for the Hornets with 27. Ball brings an infectious energy to the floor that was noticed when the Hornets began heating up early in the first half.

The Bucks didn’t go down without a fight. Giannis Anteteokounmpo continues to be one of the most dominant players in the league finishing with 34 points. The Bucks were also hot from the three-point line finishing at 40%.

The Hornets have now put together back-to-back wins for the first time since January 11. There won’t be much rest for the sqaud, as they are back in action Monday night taking on last season’s Eastern Conference champions, the Miami Heat.
