It’s no secret that the Charlotte Hornets got a weapon when they signed Gordon Hayward this offseason. The Hornets got a player who has started in every game he’s played in, and that’s provided a lot of offensive production.

So far this season, Hayward has averaged 23.0 points per game for Charlotte. He is currently the team’s leading scorer; he’s had four 30+ and one 40+ point game already this season.

Hayward has been great from the free-throw line, and he’s also stroked it nice from deep. His scoring has helped the Hornets keep the lead many times, and he knows when to take over in a game.

With his terrific play, Hayward should be considered for an All-Star spot again. He was last voted an All-Star in 2017 during his last season with the Utah Jazz.

Hayward has also helped lead his team to a 10-11 record, as they sit at the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference. Despite injury concerns, he has played in 20 of the 21 games that Charlotte has played this season.

If fans want to send Hayward to the All-Star game, they have various ways to accomplish it. Fans can start by making a tweet with the player’s Twitter handle while using the hashtag: #NBAAllStar.

Another way fans can vote for Hayward is by searching “NBA Vote” or “NBA All-Star Vote” on Google. This allows fans to select whichever player they want to vote for with ease.

Fans can also go the more traditional way by voting for Hayward on NBA.com. While voting, fans will also be able to look at a graphic of their selected players on a court. Fans can also download the image of the graphic with their votes and share it on social media. This can also be done on the NBA app.

The Hornets have not had an All-Star represent the team since the 2018-19 season when Kemba Walker was still in Charlotte.
