The Charlotte Hornets came into Wednesday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers on a three-game winning streak. Unfortunately for the Hornets, they were not able to extend their winning streak, falling to the 76ers 118-111.

The Hornets scored the game’s first four points before allowing Philadelphia to go on a 25 to 5 run. The 76ers continued to apply pressure in the first quarter, only allowing the Hornets to score 13 points in the quarter, and putting the Hornets in a 30-13 hole by the end of the first.

The Hornets missed having the production from Terry Rozier, as he was once again out due to his injury. LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward both scored 22 points, which led the team in points. Ball shot 50% from both the field and the three-point line, whereas Hayward shot 47.4% from the field, and 50% from three.
