The Charlotte Hornets dominated the Houston Rockets in the fourth quarter.

With over 8 minutes gone in the fourth quarter, the Charlotte Hornets held the Houston Rockets to only one point in the quarter. The Rockets would finish the quarter only scoring 7 points.

With the Hornets’ defense locking down the Rockets’ offense, on the offensive side of the ball, the Hornets’ didn’t let up. The Hornets scored 29 points in the fourth quarter, even with several reserves getting playing time late in the quarter with the game out of the Rockets’ reach.

The most impressive part of the fourth quarter, besides the dominating defensive play, was how well they closed a tight game. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Hornets were only up by three points. What this shows is that the Hornets are beginning to learn how to close out close games.
