As teams like the Charlotte Hornets continue to pass the quarter mark of this season, many will start to set their sights on the 2021 NBA Draft.

The Hornets got lucky last year when they received the third pick after they were projected to get a mid-lottery pick. Charlotte selected LaMelo Ball who’s been an early Rookie of the Year candidate.

So far this season for the Hornets, the team has been pretty inconsistent. Charlotte has gotten wins, but they have also lost them at the same rate. For many, it seems that they are a piece or two away from being a consistent playoff team.

For teams like the Hornets, they rely on picking up talent through the draft. The Hornets could be looking at a mid-first round pick if they continue to win games and stay in the playoff race.

When analyzing this year’s draft, you can see that there are some talented players. One of those players is Cade Cunningham, who made his name known as a freshman for Oklahoma State.

Just like Cunningham, others will continue to have their draft stocks rise. Another name fans should watch for is Jalen Suggs, who’s been playing very well for Gonzaga.

Without further ado, let’s get this thing rolling and start with the first pick. Each team’s place is based on their current record and where they’re projected to finish.
