Round 1 – Picks 9 through 11

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. UConn. James Bouknight. 9. SG. player. 38

The Orlando Magic should draft James Bouknight because of their lack of depth at the two-spot. Evan Fournier is the primary starter, but he’ll turn 29 this year. Terrence Ross is the only option off the bench, but it’s unknown how long he will be with the Magic.

Bouknight has averaged 20.3 points, and 1.5 steals per game for the University of Connecticut. He’s a great scorer and has the potential to be a consistent defender on the perimeter. Bouknight has the potential to earn a future starting job.

Pick Analysis. SG. Arkansas. Moses Moody. 10. player. Scouting Report. 84

Moses Moody could be a solid pickup for the Sacramento Kings. The Kings have Buddy Hield locked up for the next few seasons and some depth at the shooting guard spot. However, Moody could provide more depth, and he could play some minutes at small forward because of his size.

Moody is a great scorer, and he could become an even better three-point shooter with the Kings. If the Kings want to part ways with Harrison Barnes, then Moody would be a great option to develop and eventually play some big minutes at the three-spot.

Scouting Report. SF. Gonzaga. player. 11. 156. Pick Analysis. Corey Kispert

The Cleveland Cavaliers have selected a guard in the lottery for the past two seasons. They are stacked at the center position and have some good options at power forward. The team is weak at small forward, and they need to draft some depth.

Corey Kispert would be a great pickup for Cleveland. Kispert has averaged 19.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. His great play has been a big reason why Gonzaga has been doing so well this season.

His three-point shooting is an impressive aspect of his game, as he’s shooting 48% from deep and 57% from the floor. If Cleveland selects him, they will have a future starter on their roster.
