Xavier Sneed went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft and signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Charlotte Hornets.

As a senior at Kansas State, Xavier Sneed averaged 14.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 37% from the field and 30% from three. Sneed is a high volume shooter but doesn’t shoot at a great percentage.

Sneed is a great athlete; he can guard against the one, two, and three positions, and is a good rebounder.

A major thing that plagues his shooting percentage is shot selection. He’s a confident shooter with good form but doesn’t always take the best shot.

Sneed has 3&D potential at the NBA-level; he’s comparable to Tony Snell. Sneed is ready on the defensive side of the ball but does need to add strength. If he speeds up his shot and makes better decisions with the basketball, his shooting percentage should improve, so should his appeal to NBA teams.
