The Charlotte Hornets need to keep the energy up against the Memphis Grizzlies in their second matchup of the season.

One of the reasons for the Charlotte Hornets’ loss to the Memphis Grizzlies back in early January is that Charlotte did not come out with the energy we have seen in recent games. The Grizzlies won despite being undermanned and without their star players Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant.

The Hornets might have taken the depleted Memphis roster lightly, and as a result, the Hornets lost to a team that just wanted it more. The Grizzlies will be in a similar situation tonight.

While the Grizzlies have gotten back Morant, they are without Jackson Jr., Justice Winslow, DeAnthony Melton, and Brandon Clarke. While the Hornets are once again playing an undermanned team, they need to bring all the energy they have to this matchup as they have seen what this team is capable of when second-guessed.
