Reason #2: Free-throw Percentage

Gordon Hayward has always been notorious for his shooting abilities, but it is his ability to be clutch on the free-throw line that earns him a lot of praise. This year Hayward is averaging 86.2 percent from the charity stripe, which is his highest percentage of his career.

Hayward ranks 28th overall in free-throw percentage; some big-name players are ranked lower than him such as Jimmy Butler, Zach LaVine, Buddy Hield, and LeBron James, who doesn’t even rank in the top 50 in free-throw percentage.

While Hayward is pretty far from the top ten in that category, his numbers are still very competitive with the rest of the league, even shooting better from the charity stripe than LeBron James.
