How could the Charlotte Hornets solve their guard rotation issue?

A decision does not need to be made now. All these guys bring something special to the Hornets and are great players. Knowing Ball is essentially untouchable, there are two options here.

One, trade Monk and/or Graham before the trade deadline or in a sign-and-trade in the offseason to get some value back, or even let one walk in free agency, and then roll with the other three guys as the guard rotation from here on out.

Two, trade Rozier next offseason, during the season, or now to potentially maximize his value by trading him now.

There will be tough decisions, but whatever the Hornets do, you have to respect the decision general manager Mitch Kupchak makes. Ideally, you keep all four, but with cap space and other needs to address, that really is not an option.

For now, the front office has time to make a decision and should watch how this season plays out in my opinion before making a move that could be huge. It is a big problem, but it’s a good one to have for Buzz City and its executive members.
