Andre Drummond

The Charlotte Hornets have been interested in Andre Drummond for the past few seasons. Charlotte has not been able to pull off a trade for the big man, but the Hornets may have enough to pick him up during free agency.

Just like Richaun Holmes, Drummond could be an expense center to target in free agency. However, his skill set could be used by many teams. After being traded this year, 11.9 points and 10.2 rebounds with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Drummond is limited in many areas on offense, which could be a problem, but his abilities on defense would significantly help the Hornets. With Drummond, Charlotte could become a top-10 rebounding team.

Drummond’s size will make him a liability in transition, but his on-ball defense and ability to block shots would be a great asset to the Hornets. Drummond has averaged 1.1+ blocks per game every season in his career.

It’s unclear how Drummond will feel this offseason after his playoff run with the Lakers. It was reported after the trade deadline prior to him signing with the Lakers that Drummond was intrigued by the possibility of playing with Charlotte’s rookie sensation, LaMelo Ball.
