Following the NBA Play-In Tournament, Charlotte Hornets‘ fans have already looked ahead to this summer as an opportunity to build on a young core.

The buzz surrounding the Hornets’ play this season gives optimism as to what the future will hold.

With impact players such as Cody Zeller, Malik Monk, Bismack Biyombo, and Devonte’ Graham becoming free agents this summer, it is likely some, if not all, of these players won’t return to Charlotte next season.

If the Hornets’ front office decides to let some talent above walk, Charlotte will have the available cap space to build on the solid foundation they have created.

Here are five players who are potential free-agents targets the Hornets should explore this summer.
