Charlotte can offer Richaun Holmes an ideal landing spot to continue to grow into a legit NBA big

Assuming the Charlotte Hornets decide to go in a different direction and allow Cody Zeller and Bismack Biyombo to walk in free agency, Richaun Holmes will have plenty of minutes available to him. Leaving behind a crowded frontcourt with the Sacramento Kings could be a deciding factor in making Charlotte a desired destination.

Holmes fits best in a lineup that spaces the floor and allows for him to work inside on the post. The 27-year old is finding his stride as a legit offensive threat that can compete against any center the league has to offer.

Not only does Holmes serve as a offensive threat in the post, he also is a menace in the pick and roll. Holmes would allow LaMelo Ball to thrive as he is a legit lob threat to pass to.

Charlotte has had prior interest in Holmes as they were rumored to be interested in trading for him at the trade deadline back in February.

As one of the most unappreciated centers in basketball, Holmes would thrive with Charlotte’s young, improving roster and could be the missing piece the Hornets’ roster needs.
