Cameron Payne can continue to build on his game and prove his doubters wrong in Charlotte

Cameron Payne should be a target this offseason as a compliment to LaMelo Ball.

The 26-year old point-guard has been very effective off the bench helping the Phoenix Suns to the second-best record in the Western Conference this season.

An effective shooter, Payne would bring a spark off the bench that Charlotte could be lacking in the upcoming season. With the potential loss of Devonte’ Graham and Malik Monk, Payne could help to fill that void.

Shooting over 40% from three and 89% from the free-throw line, Payne could grow into a potential Sixth Man of the Year Award candidate.

Payne has been counted on many times this season in relief of Chris Paul for Phoenix this season and is currently playing a big role in their battle against the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.
