Charlotte Hornets: Swarm and Sting 2021 NBA Mock Draft
Brooklyn will be looking to compete for the title next season and will likely try to bring in a more experienced rookie with a defined role. Enter Trey Murphy III, a junior from Virginia known for his shooting, posting splits of 50/43/93, and his defensive play. -Stephen Sears
The 76ers need shooting badly and Quentin Grimes could instantly provide that as his stock rises into the first round. Grimes was an excellent 3-point shooter in college, helping lead Houston to the Final Four, he’s experienced and his stock has been on the rise since the combine. A team like the Sixers which is already a contender would allow Grimes to improve on his game as an all-around player as he has relied a lot on his shooting in college. -Jason Hubler
Miles McBride is your stereotypical scrappy guard. He is an amazing and fearless defender that can pester the opposing team’s guards during his time on the floor. Along with his defensive ability, he can shoot and would work well along with a dominant big in the pick and roll. If Chris Paul chooses to stay in Phoneix, he could be a perfect mentor to help McBride mold into an NBA guard. -Michael Wylie
Utah really suffered defending perimeter players during their recent playoff run and this is a problem they need to address during this offseason. One way to solve it is by drafting Pepperdine’s Kessler Edwards, one of the better 3&D prospects in this draft. His size and IQ are a perfect skillset for a competitive team like Utah. -Filippo Barresi
