Talen Horton-Tucker – Los Angeles Lakers – Shooting Guard – 20

A name that could make a lot of sense for Charlotte is Los Angeles’ Talen Horton-Tucker. Horton-Tucker has become a fan favorite in Los Angeles. With the Lakers having so much money tied up in their three stars Horton-Tucker’s time in L.A. is likely coming to the end as they won’t be able to bring him back on the money he deserves.

At only 20 years old Horton-Tucker still has a lot of room to grow and improve. His shooting, defense, and playmaking could use some improvements but there’s hope he can figure that out. His finishing at the rim is very impressive for a player as young as him especially when you take into consideration how poor the spacing was in Los Angeles.

The potential of Horton-Tucker could intrigue the Hornets front office as they’ve been determined to bring in young talent. He fits that bill and is already experienced in the league. Horton-Tucker would be a contributor on this roster but the only concern is if they should spend their money elsewhere as they’re buying on potential here instead of bringing in veteran players.
