JT Thor’s area of improvement: Decision-Making and skill refinement offensively

Thor is in the same boat as Jones in terms of his development. Both have tools that need more polishing at this stage of their careers. Thor also needs more refinement with his decision-making and feel for the game.

Thor would oftentimes drive and force shots around the rim in transition or the half-court. Finding the niche of when to shoot and pass is key for young players and will come with more reps and coaching. Overall, shot selection needs to improve.  Film breakdown can help a lot with this area of the game as well.

Borrego will have a lot of instructional film breakdowns with both Jones and Thor to help them see the game better. Thor did show great flashes as well though with his ability to attack closeouts off the dribble as a big, shot the three with some success, and displayed his shot-blocking ability.  Thor is another high-upside big on the roster who would benefit from G-League experience.
