No. 3. Kai Jones – Big – 20

Kai Jones is the biggest if on this list but also might be the player with the most potential to break into 2Ks top 10 list. Entering his rookie season in the NBA, Jones might already be one of the most athletic players in the entire league.

Not a lot of guys have the ability to do what Jones did in the below video and that means something. While he is extremely raw at all facets of the game of basketball, if ever figures out what he is actually good at, Jones will be a menace on the court.

At the moment, Jones is seen as a big man who projects to be a very good rim runner and a potential rim protector in the NBA. Again, he is very raw, so there’s a lot of work that needs to be done here before he even reaches this stage but time should allow him to be a capable big man in the league.

At 6’11, Jones is a willing, but not very good, ball handler. As he showed during Summer League, Jones is not afraid to take the ball up the court and start a fast break if he collects a rebound. Jones is also a willing three-point shooter. Another trait that would be amazing for a guy of his size, but again, he is not very good at doing that just yet.

If there ever comes a day when Jones becomes a starting-caliber center, actually learns how to dribble and can truly threaten defenses with his three-point shot. Then Jones might actually find himself in 2Ks top 10 list.
