Charlotte ends March with a brutal stretch of games against some of the league’s best teams but comes out of it in OK shape.

Mar. 2: at Cleveland Cavaliers – Loss

Evan Mobley and the Cavaliers finally get one against the Hornets. Charlotte will be wishing they had this one back.

Mar. 5: vs San Antonio Spurs – Win

Charlotte defends their homecourt against the Spurs and they sweep the two-game season series against San Antonio. A big accomplishment for head coach James Borrego against his former team.

Mar. 8: vs Brooklyn Nets – Loss

If the Nets field their three stars against Charlotte then I have very little hope the Hornets can come out with a win.

Mar. 9: vs Boston Celtics – Win

Rozier and Hayward show up and Charlotte even’s the season series against the Celtics at 2-2, something this young team should be proud of.

Mar. 11: at New Orleans Pelicans – Loss

The first matchup against Devonte’ Graham, Zion Williamson, and the Pelicans comes late into the season. Charlotte can’t keep the momentum from their big win against Boston going and they struggle to contain Williamson in this one. Pelicans win.

Mar. 14: at Oklahoma City Thunder – Win

This will be a sneaky game for the Hornets as they could overlook a bad Thunder team on the road. Charlotte stands strong and walks away from Oklahoma City with a victory.

Mar. 16: vs Atlanta Hawks – Loss

Trae Young silences the Hornets this time around with a statement win as they gear up for another playoff run. This game could be crucial in the battle for the Southeast Division.

Mar. 19: vs Dallas Mavericks – Loss

Luka Doncic is in town for a big game against the Hornets. This one is sure to go down to the wire but Doncic steals a road win against Charlotte.

Mar. 21: vs New Orleans Pelicans – Win

Charlotte bounces back after losses to Young and Doncic with a big win against Williamson’s Pelicans. Charlotte will need this victory as they head into a tough stretch of games.

Mar. 23: vs New York Knicks – Win

Kemba Walker is back and again his return home is spoiled by the Hornets. Charlotte gets a big home win as they continue their fight for a playoff spot.

Mar. 25: vs Utah Jazz – Loss

Mitchell and Gobert are back to ruin Charlotte’s momentum. Loss for Charlotte

Mar. 27: at Brooklyn Nets – Loss

Remember how I said all of Charlotte’s big games come on a back-to-back or in the middle of a brutal stretch. Yeah. Loss for Charlotte.

Mar. 28: vs Denver Nuggets – Loss

Honestly, this is harsh for Charlotte.

Mar. 30: at New York Knicks – Win

This is a crucial game for Charlotte in the middle of an extremely tough stretch. If they want any chance at a playoff berth at this point, they have to win this game to finish out the month of March.

Record through March: 36-41
