Charlotte Hornets: LiAngelo Ball has the work ethic to possibly get NBA consideration

One thing about LiAngelo Ball that stood out to the Hornet’s coaching staff was his work ethic.

Ball was a gym rat leading up to the summer league. Every day he was working on his game trying to get better

"“Great kid. Love him,” lead assistant coach Jay Triano said. “He was at the facility practicing every day for two months to play in the Summer League. Shows a ton of character. He can shoot it, great feel, knack for scoring.”"

This kind of motivation and dedication can be contagious to a locker room. Having a guy who is committed to getting better will set an example for a lot of young guys who will play for the Swarm this year

Ball’s passion for the game never dwindled even though he has faced adversity throughout his basketball career. That all has to do with his dream to play in the NBA, even if nobody else believes he can make it.

"“I know myself, I’m an NBA player,” Ball said, via the Los Angeles Times. “In my head, I can play in the NBA. I can play anywhere for real. I don’t really think about how people think about me, I just do my own thing.”"

If Ball truly is committed to making the NBA, then he must maintain his drive to get better.
