No. 3:  Alternate Purple Pinstripes Jersey (1994)

Purple is not the easiest color to incorporate into jerseys, but when done correctly it can result in iconic jerseys such as the ones worn by the Hornets. The multi-colored pinstripes are unique and give this jersey a distinct look, as the franchise leaned heavily into the NBA fashion trends of the 1990s with this look that debuted in 1994.

The “Charlotte” wordmark across the chest and the lettering beneath both stand out with the teal outline, and the white of the collar and cuff ties the look together nicely. Incorporating the Hugo the Hornet logo onto the waistband is a subtle move that tops off the overall quality of this design.
