The Charlotte Hornets have found early success this season, and they’ll look to continue that against the Boston Celtics on Monday at the Spectrum Center at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.

The Charlotte Hornets face off against Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics tonight, who have started their season with a 1-2 record, losing to the Knicks and Raptors in their first two games. Similar to the Hornets, the Celtics are coming off of a win last night – their coming against the Houston Rockets.

The Charlotte Hornets, however, are undefeated after beating Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets last night after a dominant game by all of Miles Bridges, Ish Smith, and Cody Martin.

Charlotte Hornets odds vs Boston Celtics

The Charlotte Hornets are one-point underdogs to the Boston Celtics at home on Monday night, according to WynnBET. Additionally, the over/under on the game is set at 224.0, which may be worth a look.

The Hornets have become much more difficult to watch as Sinclair has made it much more difficult to access Bally Sports Southeast. It sucks – and hopefully the organization itself takes notice of it soon.

Storylines for Charlotte Hornets vs Boston Celtics

This is the first back-to-back set for the Hornets, and they’re coming off of a hard fought win in Brooklyn. Despite that, LaMelo Ball played less than 30 minutes on Sunday – so we’ll see whether he’s the primary option (and how often they go to him in the half court) against Boston.

Terry Rozier sustained another ankle injury in his return against Cleveland on Friday. He was listed as questionable against Brooklyn and did not play – I would expect that to be the case against Boston as well since it’s just one day later. It’s for the better that Rozier takes his time and gets healthy.

The Miles Bridges growth looks to be real. He’s been excellent attacking off of closeouts, defending inside, and creating his own shot as a ball-handler. If his play keeps up, the Hornets may have themselves a co-star for LaMelo Ball – or at least one that is less than 30-years-old (no slight to Hayward!).
