The Charlotte Hornets take on the Sacramento Kings tonight at Golden 1 Center at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. Charlotte is coming off a loss to Golden State and will be looking to get back in the win column after dropping two straight games.

Sacramento has started the season off decently, entering this game at 4-4. Harrison Barnes and De’Aaron Fox have led the way, averaging 23.3 and 17.9 points respectively. The Kings have proved to be a respectable force this season with all eight of their games being competitive at the end.

Charlotte started Wednesday’s game against the Warriors off well but came out flat in the third quarter where they lost control of the game. Besides the win against Brooklyn, we’ve yet to see the Hornets put together a complete four quarters.

Charlotte Hornets odds vs. Sacramento Kings

The Hornets open up as 2-point underdogs to the Kings on Friday night according to WynnBET. Hornets fans will be expecting a win tonight but don’t get too comfortable, this is a solid team. Additionally, Miles Bridges has a point total over/under of 23.5. This could be worth a look with Bridges being on fire to start this season.

Storylines for Charlotte Hornets vs. Sacramento Kings

With the Hornets dropping two straight for the first time this season, a bounce-back game is necessary, especially on a tough west coast road trip. Out of all the games on this trip, this is the most winnable one, so the Hornets will need to step up to the plate and handle business tonight.

Terry Rozier is yet to get going this season. Against Cleveland, he registered 23 points, but that was on 22 shots, shooting 40% from the field. Part of the reason Charlotte has had some bad stints offensively this season is due to the lack of Rozier’s production this season. Would love for him to have a big-time bounce-back game tonight to get back on the right track.
