Kemba Walker – (2011-19)

This one is obvious. Kemba Walker is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 12,009 points, had three-all star appearances and was named third-team All-NBA during his eight-year tenure in the Queen City.

Walker only led Charlotte to two playoff appearances but was more of a late-bloomer after being drafted ninth overall in 2011.

After the-then Bobcats went 7-59 during his rookie season, Walker slowly improved in each of his first five seasons before being named an all-star in 2016-17.

Walker proved to be clutch, hit big shots, could defend and shoot lights out but he still wasn’t a guy that could do it all himself.

He was arguably underrated throughout until his final season with the Hornets in 2018-19 but was then named All-NBA, which led him to sign a max deal with the Boston Celtics.

Charlotte opted not to give Walker the supermax, which was infuriating at the time, considering he was the best player to ever suit up for the team, but looking back on it, Walker was already entering his 30s and seemed to have just hit his peak.

That turned out to be the case as he made one more all-star team with Boston in his first year but has struggled since, which led to him being traded this offseason from the Celtics to the Oklahoma City Thunder, before being bought out and signing with the New York Knicks.
