If the year 2021 proved anything about the Charlotte Hornets, it’s that the future is extremely bright and fans should be excited for years to come if everything is managed properly.

The year saw huge breakouts from LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges, and Cody Martin, and more consistency was provided from guys like Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward.

In 2022, the Hornets have a chance to take an even bigger step into relevancy, especially with the Carolina Panthers reeling.

Almost no NBA team remains the same from the start of the season to finish and with Charlotte still firmly in the mix for a playoff spot, things will likely be changed as the team enters the second half of the season.

To make matters even more complicated and confusing, COVID-19 has taken a toll once again, already having a record amount of NBA players suit up this season and we’re only through December.

The Hornets have already had their fair share of COVID issues with most of their team missing time due to it, but uncertainty will continue with the virus and more players will need to step up as the season goes on.

Even with the injuries and defensive struggles this first half of the season, the Hornets have impressed, been one of the league’s best offensive teams and should be relevant the rest of the season.

So, which 3 players could we see more of in the rotation this new year?
