On the second game a back-to-back road trip, the Charlotte Hornets travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers at 7:00 p.m. est. The Hornets have found themselves on the sour side of a two-game losing streak as they look to get back on track against the struggling Pacers.
Last night, Charlotte was in Toronto for a matchup against the Raptors and they lost 125-113. This was another ugly game for the Hornets where they struggled to hit anything from behind the arc. In their past two games, the Hornets are a combined 14 for 67, about 21 percent, from three. Not good!
This is a major reason why Charlotte finds themselves as losers of two-straight. They will surely be hoping that their shots will start falling tonight as they face off against another team in a stretch of poor form.
Indiana is also on a two-game losing streak with their most recent loss coming against the New Orleans Pelicans. Indiana’s season has been a major disappointment so far as they are just 17-31 on the season and ready to break up the core of their team.
Odds for Charlotte Hornets at Indiana Pacers
The Hornets enter tonight’s matchup against the Pacers as 2-point favorites, according to WynnBET. The Pacers will be without all of their stars (literally) tonight so you would expect the Hornets to be able to handle business. Unfortunately, handling business has not been Charlotte’s strong suit as of late. If you’re a betting man, proceed with caution.

Storylines for Charlotte Hornets at Indiana Pacers
This will be the fourth and final game between Charlotte and Indiana this season. The Hornets have gotten the better of the Pacers in each game, winning all three. I’m sure Charlotte sees red every time it’s time to play Indiana after they were embarrassed in last year’s Play-In game by this team. Indiana hasn’t been the same Indiana from previous years but sweeping them this season will make for some sweet revenge.
Charlotte has not been able to take care of business when needed this season. They’ve been great against some of the best teams in the league but when it comes time to play teams they’re supposed to be better than they lay an egg. Maybe they overthink these games, the staff and players talk plenty about “being mature” in these situations, but losing to Orlando, Toronto, Sacramento, and Houston, is not being mature. If they want to make the playoffs they can’t slip up against those teams and tonight is no different.
