The Charlotte Hornets had an extremely beneficial four-game week during the semi-final week of the fantasy basketball playoffs. In those four games, the Swarm went 3-1 and provided excellent value from their top four fantasy players.

LaMelo Ball led the team in fantasy value for the week. Finishing fourth in total, eight-category value, LaMelo could do no wrong this week. In his 35.4 minutes per game, Ball averaged 25.8 points per game, six rebounds per game, seven assists per game, 1.5 steals per game, and 4.8 triples per game on 48.7% shooting from the field and 80% free-throw shooting. This week likely swung matchups single-handedly.

Sitting just behind Ball, there was a trio of Hornets players that ranked in the 30-40 range. Miles Bridges, P.J. Washington, and Terry Rozier ranked 30th, 32nd, and 37th, respectively.

For Bridges, the stat line was eerily similar to Ball’s line. Averaging 20.3 points per game, seven rebounds per game, five assists per game, and one steal per game, Bridges’ only knock this week was his free throw percentage, which sat at 62.5% on four attempts per game.

Washington had an incredibly productive week. After slumping in the middle section of the season, Washington has turned it on as of late. He only averaged 10 points per game, but he brought 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and one block per game on perfect shooting from the foul line.

Finally, Rozier brought his usual assortment of points and triples. Dropping 18.5 points per game and 3.3 triples per game, Rozier had another solid week that was buoyed by the four-game schedule.

Heading into finals week in standard leagues, these four Hornets should continue providing excellent value for the lucky managers that made the final four. Despite playing three games during finals week, the Hornets’ front-heavy schedule should provide stream value later in the week.
