Draft Target: E.J. Lidell, Forward – Ohio State
The Hornets need more versatile wing players, and that’s where two-time All-Big Ten forward E.J. Lidell comes in. The 240-pound, 6’7″ forward is a complete beast. This season he averaged 19.4 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per game, and 2.6 blocks per game. He’s an absolute unit down low, as he easily muscles guys out of the way while hitting smooth post shots. He also has a solid shot; he shot 37.4% from three on 3.8 attempts per game. He uses his frame well on defense, as he led the Big Ten this season with an 8.5 block percentage. His defense could provide a spark for the already-elite Hornets offense.
