With the NBA Draft approaching soon, the Charlotte Hornets have two picks in the first round at #13 and #15 overall. In the past the Hornets haven’t drafted many international players, but that could change in 2022.

Ousmane Dieng is a name that could be called by the Hornets on draft night. Dieng is from France and played professional basketball in the NBL in Australia and New Zealand with the New Zealand Breakers. Dieng is definitely a project and will most likely take some time to develop. The NBL may sound familiar to some Hornets fans, that’s due to the fact that LaMelo Ball played in that league in the season before he joined the NBA.
