Four guards the Charlotte Hornets can target in free agency
Victor Oladipo
Victor Oladipo has had an interesting NBA career. He was drafted in 2013 by the Orlando Magic with the second overall pick. Oladipo had good numbers while with the Magic before eventually being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the Thunder, he put up similar numbers befroe once again traded to the Indiana Pacers.
In his first season in Indiana, he made his first All-Star appearance/ Since 2017-2018, Oladipo has had trouble staying healthy, and it is difficult to tell how much he has left in the tank.
Last season with the Miami Heat, Oladipo played more games in the playoffs than he did in the regular season. In the postseason, he averaged 10.6 points per game while grabbing 3.4 rebounds per game and dishing out 2.1 assists per game. He shot 36.8 percent from the field while shooting 27.4 percent from three-point range.
While his stats in the postseason this past year will not blow anyone away, he is still a solid contributor and a good perimeter defender, which the Hornets could use. Depending on the type of money Oladipo is looking for, the Hornets could inquire about him to help bolster their defense.
Oladipo finally seems healthy and is trending toward getting his offensive game back, but the defensive ability is still present for him. He could be an interesting fit if he were added to the roster.
