Brady Manek

Age: 23

College: North Carolina

Position: PF

Height: 6-9

Weight: 230 lbs.

2021-22 Stats (North Carolina): 15.1 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 1.8 APG, 49.3 FG%, 40.3 3PT%

Brady Manek was an elite shooter this past season at North Carolina, shooting over 40% from three-point range and ranking in the 83rd percentile in three-pointers. He also showed great efficiency around the rim, ranking in the 97th percentile in finishing around the basket, according to Synergy Sports. Not only can Manek provide floor spacing and some touch around the rim, but he has great feel and vision as a passer as well. He keeps his head up to find cutters when on the perimeter or the mid-post and showed his ability as a high-low passer working alongside Armando Bacot this past season at North Carolina.

Defensive will be the question with Manek. He has average footspeed but does a good job of staying vertical and trying to contest shots at the basket. However, he struggles when guarding physical line-drivers. He sometimes will give away the middle too easily on drives and will be moved off the spot. Getting stronger in his upper body will help him guard physical drivers at the next level. His best fit at the next level will be playing power forward.
